In June 2016, my dream of shooting my first destination wedding came true. Being able to travel home to St. Lucia to photograph an old school mate's wedding was truly an honour and an experience I will cherish forever.
What started off as a bright and sunny day quickly turned into perpetual rain showers. As a result the wedding originally planned for the garden at the St. Lucia Golf & Country Club had to be quickly moved inside.
The smiles and celebrations continued despite the outdoor conditions. I must extend a special thank you to my long time friend Priestley, of Cap Estate Garden Weddings who assisted with bringing this couple's photo dreams to life.
This destination wedding experience taught me that locations & weather can change at a moment's notice but there is always beauty to be captured.
